One man was charged with possession of cannabis following a search at a property on Aysgarth Road, while a third man was charged with producing cannabis after plants were seized from an address on Robert Hall Street.

Sgt Michelle Zakoscielny, of Leicestershire Constabulary, said: "We would like to thank the members of the community who have passed us information to help us to reduce illegal activities associated with drug use and the anti-social behaviour that often occurs as a side effect of this.

"If people do not feel comfortable passing information directly to the police we would urge them to contact Crimestoppers as this can be done anonymously and we will always act on information received."
