Carly Jacques admits murder of baby daughter Skye

A Leicester mother has pleaded guilty to the murder of her seven-month-old daughter.

Police were called to an address on Netherhall Road on 30 October 2011.

Officers took a woman and child to hospital but the baby girl, Skye Jacques, later died.

Her mother, Carly Jacques, 32, pleaded guilty to infanticide at Leicester Crown Court on Friday and was remanded. She will be sentenced on 8 June.
