A £25,000 reward is being offered for information about a ram raid on a cash dispenser in Leicestershire.

The machine was taken away on a pick-up vehicle in the attack on Barclays bank on Ratby Road, Groby on 18 February.

A Crimestoppers spokesman said the robbery may be linked to other cash machine thefts in Desford, Ibstock and Sapcote in the past few months.

A 37-year-old man was arrested after the raid and released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The Groby theft was the sixth cash machine raid in Leicestershire since October.
