Leicester street stab victim named as Dilovan Fazil Mohammed

A 30-year-old man who was found injured outside a railway station and later died from a stab wound has been named by police.

Dilovan Fazil Mohammed, of no fixed address, was discovered near Leicester railway station early on Wednesday morning and died later in hospital, police said.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned about the death.

It was initially believed Mr Mohammed had been struck by a vehicle.

Police have asked that anyone who was in the area of the railway station late on Tuesday night or in the early hours of Wednesday, and who saw Mr Mohammed is urged to contact them.
