Lincolnshire police arrest man over firearms threats

A man has been charged with making threats to kill after armed police were called to a street in Lincolnshire on Saturday afternoon.

The officers went to Mercer Row in Louth after reports of threats being made over the telephone.

Lincolnshire Police said a number of firearms had been seized from a home in the town.

William Oliver, 27, of Northgate, Louth, appeared before Skegness magistrates on Monday.
