Driver killed in Lincolnshire lorry collision


A motorist has been killed in a collision between a car and lorry in Lincolnshire.

Police were called to Wood Lane, just outside South Kyme near Sleaford, at 1123 BST to reports that a Ford Puma had collided with a Scania HGV lorry.

The driver of the Ford, a 36-year-old local man, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The driver of the lorry, a 40-year-old man from Wales, was unhurt. Police have appeled for witnesses.

The road has been closed for investigators to examine the scene.
