Motorcyclist killed in Lincolnshire road collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car in Lincolnshire.

The accident, which involved a Ducati motorbike and an MG car, happened on the A15 Sleaford bypass at about 1110 BST on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old rider of the Ducati, thought to be from the Thetford area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was uninjured. The road was closed for several hours in both directions between the A52 and A17 roundabouts.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
