Visitor steals money from pensioner's home in Spalding

Police are hunting a man who stole about £60 and loose change from the home of a 77-year-old woman in Lincolnshire.

He walked into the house on Balmoral Avenue, Spalding, at about 1930 BST on Sunday and asked her for money, but no threats of violence were made.

The offender is described as a white man in his 20s in a navy blue hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
