Crews fight straw stack fires in Lincolnshire
- Published
Fire crews in Lincolnshire have been dealing with two fires at straw stacks in the county - one of which is believed to be arson.
About 650 bales were damaged in the first incident at Ings Lane, Leverton, near Boston, early on Saturday.
Then on Sunday morning, a large stack fire broke out at a Carlby Road in Carlby, near Bourne.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the Leverton fire was suspicious and police were investigating.
In both cases, crews extinguished the fires and stayed at the scene for several hours damping down.
