Motorcyclist, 68, dies in Lincolnshire crash

A motorcyclist died when he crashed into a street light in Lincolnshire, police have said.

The incident happened on Sunday afternoon on the A158 Lincoln Road at Baumber, near Horncastle.

Police said the victim, a 68-year-old Lincoln man, was riding a Honda motorbike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said no other vehicles were thought to have been involved and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
