Warning to Lincolnshire village residents after thefts
- Published
Police are warning the residents of two Lincolnshire villages to be vigilant after a spate of thefts.
On Tuesday, thieves broke into a house on Barn Owl Way in Washingborough, damaging a large television and taking a number of electrical items.
A sat nav was stolen from a van in Norwich Close, also in Washingborough and thieves broke into a car in Heighington, taking CDs and two purses.
Patrols have been stepped up and police have appealed for information.
Officers also advised residents to make sure their homes and vehicles were locked and to leave lights on in the early evening to make houses look occupied.
