Friends and family have opened a memorial garden for a Lincolnshire man tortured and killed at his home.

Alan Wood was found dead at his home in Lound, near Bourne, exactly one year ago on 24 October 2009.

Mr Wood's death was the subject of several appeals, including one on Crimewatch and a £60,000 reward was offered. No one has yet been charged.

The garden has been created at the Willoughby Arms in Little Bytham, the last place Mr Wood was seen alive.

Volunteers have spent the past few months raising money for the garden which was officially opened at 1500 BST on Sunday.
