Investigation after ambulance crash in Lincolnshire

An ambulance which was involved in a collision in which a woman suffered minor injuries was responding to a 999 call, it has emerged.
The woman had to be cut free from her Vauxhall Corsa after the crash on the A15 at Langtoft, near Market Deeping, Lincolnshire.
Police are investigating the collision, which happened at 0530 GMT on Saturday.
East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) said crew members were not injured in the collision.
In a statement, EMAS said: "The driver of the car suffered minor injuries but as a precaution, was taken to Peterborough City hospital for assessment. Neither staff members were injured.
"Police are investigating the cause of the collision and as such it is not appropriate for us to comment further at this stage."
