Motorist dies after road accident in North Kyme

A woman has died after a road accident in Lincolnshire.

Police went to Causeway Road, North Kyme, at about 1500 GMT on Tuesday after reports a Honda Jazz had left the road and ended up in a ditch.

Driver Andrea Anderson, 52, from Dorrington, died of her injuries a short time later at Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and want anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them.
