Main road closed by fire at Uffington house

A main road has been closed for several hours after a fire at a Lincolnshire house.

Crews from Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping were called to the incident in Uffington near Stamford just before 0900 GMT.

The fire is reported to have broken out in the attic of a three-storey property on Main Road. There are no reports of any injuries.

The A16 between Stamford and Market Deeping was closed until 1230 GMT.
