Further youth charged over Sleaford quarry death

A second boy has been charged over the death of a man whose body was found in a Lincolnshire quarry.

The body of David Cowley, 67, of Broadfield Lane in Boston, was discovered in a quarry off Mareham Lane, Sleaford, on 17 November.

The 17-year-old was charged with handling stolen goods relating to Mr Cowley's property and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

A boy aged 17 has already been charged with murder and awaits trial.

The second youth has been released on conditional police bail to appear at Lincoln Youth Court on 24 March.
