Views sought on NHS modernisation in Lincolnshire

People in Lincolnshire are being asked for their opinions on NHS modernisation.

They are being encouraged to submit views on the government's health bill - which includes plans to give local GPs more power.

People have up to 31 May to make their comments, which can be submitted via the online form or by post or e-mail.

John McIvor, chief executive for NHS Lincolnshire, said he hoped the public would get involved.

They will be asked about four different themes - choice and competition, accountability and patient involvement, education and training, and advice and leadership.

Any feedback will be then used to shape the legalisation before it progresses further.
