Man punched and kicked in Lincoln street robbery

A man has been punched on the side of the head and kicked by robbers in a street in Lincoln.

The 48-year-old, a local man, was approached by two men as he walked along Vine Street at about 2015 BST on Friday.

The pair attacked him then took about £40 from his wallet and ran off.

The victim sustained cuts and bruises but was not seriously injured, police said. Detectives have appealed for witnesses.

Both robbers are described as being aged 19 or 20, and about 5ft 10in or 5ft 11in in height.

One was tanned with short black braided hair, wearing a white top.

The other was wearing a white hooded top and blue jeans and had short blond hair.
