Safe stolen from Louth betting shop
- Published
Thieves forced their way into a Lincolnshire betting shop and stole a safe.
The offenders entered the bookmakers in Queen Street, Louth, overnight between Monday and Tuesday.
They used a circular saw to remove the safe from where it had been bolted to the ground.
The safe was then loaded into a wheelie bin and taken to the Market Place before being driven away, police said.
It is believed the offenders used a blue Ford Escort that had been stolen from the Canon Street car park earlier.
