Thieves target St Peter's Church in South Somercotes

A church in Lincolnshire has been targeted by thieves who stole a donation box.

The theft from St Peter's Church, Louth Road, South Somercotes happened some time between 1800 BST on Tuesday and 1245 BST on Wednesday.

The offenders entered the church, smashed an internal wall and stole a wall-mounted donation box. It is not known how much money was taken.

Anyone who has any information is urged to contact police.
