Two charged with murder after man found in Lincoln street

Two men have been charged with murder of a man who was found dying on a Lincoln street.

Gary Alan Hayes, 44, of Walnut Place, died from a single stab wound to the chest on Saturday morning despite ambulance crews trying to save him.

Police were called to the Portland Street area at 05.55 BST.

Mark James Titley, 38, of Monks Road, and Benjamin James Freeston, 32, of Stamp End, will appear before magistrates in Lincoln later.
