Lincolnshire petrol tanker crash man named

A man who died when the car he was driving collided with a petrol tanker on a Lincolnshire road has been named.

The crash happened on the A153 at Haltham on Monday morning.

Kevin Lee, 53, of West Lane in Haltham, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 39-year-old tanker driver, from Humberside, was not hurt.

The road was closed between Horncastle and Coningsby for more than five hours while investigations were carried out.

Police said the fatality brings the number of people killed on Lincolnshire's roads in 2012 to 16, compared to 19 at the same time last year.
