The jury in the trial of a Lincolnshire man accused of murdering a love rival with an ice pick has been discharged.

Jamie Rawson, 22, denies murdering Peter Schruyers, 31, in an attack at a flat in Wainfleet Road, Skegness, in August 2011.

The jury at Lincoln Crown Court was discharged for legal reasons. The court will sit on Tuesday to decide on a possible retrial.

Mr Schruyers never regained consciousness and died five days later.
