An 82-year-old man who died when his car crashed into a water-filled ditch has been named by police.

Alfred Reynolds, known as Peter, died on Saturday after the crash near Sibsey in Lincolnshire at about 16:00 GMT.

The retired dentist from Boston was a well known golfer in the area and in Skegness and Woodhall Spa, his family said.

His Jaguar car left the road at Willows Lane and was found in Stone Bridge Drain. Nobody else was in the car.
