A blaze at a former waste recycling centre sent a large plume of smoking billowing into the air above Lincolnshire.

Three fire engines and 15 firefighters tackled the fire on Summergangs Lane in Gainsborough.

Local residents said the smoke could be seen from as far as 20 miles (32km) away.

Watch Commander Darren Stones said the fire, which started at 06:30 BST, has caused traffic problems in the town.
