The second victim of a crash that killed two friends after the car they were in overturned has been named.

Josh Davies, 19, was a passenger in the black Toyota Yaris when it left the carriageway at High Road, Londonthorpe, Lincolnshire, on Thursday night.

His friend and driver of the car, Shaun Durham, 20, from Grantham, also died.

The family of Mr Davies, who died in hospital on Sunday, paid tribute to "a much-loved and popular local lad".

They described him as "a huge motorcycling enthusiast and a willing apprentice" at a vehicle repair centre in Grantham.

They said: "It seems everyone our beautiful son knew he touched in very different ways and as a son and brother he was one in a million. The family have taken deep comfort from all of the beautiful messages they have received.

"We, as a family, want to send our heartfelt condolences to Shaun's family. As broken as we are we take comfort in the fact that they spent a lot of time together in life and are now resting in peace with each other. Rest easy now Josh and Shaun, love from us all".

Mr Durham's family said in a statement they had been left "absolutely devastated" by his death.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
