Man charged with woman's murder in Plumstead

Ms Rudman's body was found near a builder's yard in Plumstead

A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found in south-east London.

Police found 24-year-old Toni Rudman near a builder's yard in North Road, Plumstead, on Saturday night. She was declared dead at the scene.

Ryan David Lee Backhouse, from Plumstead, has been charged with Ms Rudman's murder.

Mr Backhouse, who is unemployed, will appear at Woolwich Magistrates' Court later.
