Bahrain arrest over 1999 Heathrow suitcase body

A man has been arrested in Bahrain in connection the killing of a Canadian woman whose body was found in a suitcase at Heathrow Airport in 1999.
The case holding Fatima Kama's body was left in a trolley at the car park at Terminal 3 in July 1999.
She was in a foetal position and had a slashed throat and several stab wounds.
Police said Youseff Ahmed Wahid, a former Kuwaiti Airlines steward who was wanted over the murder, was arrested in Bahrain in a pre-planned operation.
Ms Kama, who had been a regular visitor to London, had arrived in the UK on 10 July 1999 and was due to fly back to Montreal on the evening of 17 July, when her body was found.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police said Mr Wahid had been arrested in Bahrain on Tuesday and was in custody pending extradition to the UK.
