Biggin Hill women's underwear thief sentenced

A man has been given a four-month suspended jail sentence for stealing women's underwear after being caught on CCTV pinching it from a washing line.

Luke Wicker, 20, who was living in Biggin Hill, south-east London, raided the same garden four times.

But he was caught after the female victim set up cameras in her garden.

At Bromley Magistrates' Court Wicker admitted four counts of theft. He was ordered to pay £250 to the victim and carry out 100 hours' community service.

The prison sentence was suspended for a year.

When police searched Wicker's home they found 65 items of clothing hidden under his bed, including 15 bras and 26 pairs of knickers.

Many of the items belonged to the victim's 13-year-old daughter.

Wicker now lives in a Sussex night shelter.
