The jury at the inquest of a barrister who was involved in an armed stand-off has retired to consider its verdict.

Mark Saunders, 32, was shot following a five-hour siege after he began firing from his home in Chelsea on 6 May 2008.

The jury has to decide if Mr Saunders was lawfully killed by police marksmen and if he "deliberately" provoked the officers to shoot.

The divorce barrister was shot in the head, chest and liver, the Westminster Coroner's Court heard.
