Window fall woman impaled on railings

A woman is seriously ill in hospital after falling from a fourth-floor flat window on to railings.

An ambulance crew found the victim impaled on the railings outside the property in Gledhow Gardens, Kensington, south-west London.

The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to hospital where she is in a serious but stable condition.

Police said the incident, which happened in the early hours, was being treated as non-suspicious.
