Three guns found during police raid in Battersea


Police have discovered an Uzi machine pistol and two handguns, as well as more than 2kg (4.4lbs) of heroin, in a raid in Battersea, south London.

An estimated £30,000 in cash was also found at a flat in Whitgift House on Randall Close on Friday afternoon.

Officers arrested a 32-year-old man and have been questioning him at a police station in south London.

The raid was organised by Scotland Yard's Specialist Crime Directorate, which targets organised crime.
