Man's body found following a fire in a Tooting flat

The body of a man has been found following a fire at a five-storey block of flats in south London.

Firefighters were called to the scene in Bedford Hill, Tooting at about 1530 BST.

The body of the man was found in the living room of the property on the ground floor of Wimbourne House.

London Fire Brigade said about 25% of the flat had been damaged by the fire. Further details of the victim have not yet been released.
