Four children found in an east London flat where a boy's body was discovered in a bath are under police protection.
The 15-year-old boy was found drowned in the flat in Hathaway Crescent, Manor Park, on Christmas Day. The boy had a "number of injuries", police said.
The children were taken away when the body was discovered. Two of them were taken to a hospital for treatment and later discharged, officers said.
A man and a woman, both aged 27, were arrested after the body was found.
The Metropolitan Police said it has been given a warrant to detain the pair until Tuesday morning.
The teenager's death was being treated as suspicious. The result of a post-mortem examination is awaited.
Police were called to the flat by the London Ambulance Service following reports of a drowning.
Newham Council said the teenager was not known to them.
