A professional footballer has been cleared of any involvement in an alleged kidnapping and rape in south-east London.
Lincoln City midfielder Ali Fuseini, 23, had been accused of helping abduct an 18-year-old girl and watching as she was forced to perform a sex act.
On Thursday, the judge ruled he had no case to answer on charges of kidnap and aiding and abetting rape.
The trial of two other men at Blackfriars Crown Court continues.
The alleged victim, an 18-year-old Rwandan student, says she was picked up outside a club in May last year and driven to a spot near the Old Kent Road, where she was attacked.
Billy Davies, 25, of High Street, Bromley, Kent, denies kidnap, rape, and attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle.
Samuel Shyllon, 23, denies kidnap, aiding and abetting rape and perverting the course of justice.
The hearing is due to resume on Monday.
