Teenagers, 17, hurt in South Norwood shooting

Two 17-year-olds are in hospital after being shot in south London.

Police were called at about 1655 GMT on Tuesday to reports of gunshots being fired in Armistice Gardens, south London.

The teenagers were taken to hospital where one remains in a serious but stable condition. The other was shot in the legs.

Detectives from the Trident unit, which investigates gun crime in the black community, are investigating.

Two male suspects escaped on a motorbike towards Penge Road.

There have so far been no arrests.
