West Ham footballer Dominic Vose quizzed over rape

A West Ham United footballer has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 16-year-old girl, it has emerged.

Midfielder Dominic Vose, 17, who is not a first team player at the Premier League club, was questioned over an alleged sex attack at a party.

The girl said she was attacked at a property in Herne Hill, south London, on 26 March.

Officers quizzed Mr Vose last month, taking a DNA swab and fingerprints. He has been bailed until June.

The footballer recently won his first professional contract after joining West Ham from Fulham in November.
