Two guilty over promoter attack in south-east London

Two men have been found guilty at the Old Bailey of causing grievous bodily harm after the death of a nightclub promoter in south-east London.

Daniel Herbert, 27, of Orpington, was found with a bullet wound to the head in Bermondsey on 17 August 2009.

Bobby Winser, 22, of Eldridge Court, Bermondsey, and Michael Campbell, 25, of Jago Walk, Camberwell, south-west London, were cleared of murder.

Winser and Campbell will be sentenced on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Darren Mitchell, 42, and Doreen Mitchell, 68, both from Brassey Parade, Eastbourne, were both found guilty of assisting Winser.
