Luke Harwood murder: Four charged over body in field

Four people have appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenager who was discovered dead in a field.

The body of Luke Harwood, 18, was found by police on Monday in Woodford Green, north-east London.

James Danby, 26, of no fixed address, Tony O'Toole, 29, Emma Hall, 20, and Kahalid Hassan, 19, all of Romford, appeared at Redbridge Magistrates' Court.

They have been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.

A fifth person, Billy Duggan, 20, of Romford, east London, has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.

All five were remanded in custody and are due to appear at the same court on 6 June.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Harwood, from Havering, east London, died of severe head injuries.
