PC kicked unconscious in assault in Kingsbury

A police constable was knocked to the ground and kicked unconscious in Kingsbury, north-west London, Scotland Yard has said.

The force said the assault took place in Hillside on Saturday, 2 June at 17:50 BST when police were attending reports of youths causing a disturbance.

A man who was being searched stamped on the PC's head, leaving him seriously injured, said the Met.

The suspect ran off towards Hay Lane.

Police have described him as black, aged 20 to 22, about 5ft 8in (1.7m) tall, wearing a dark zipped-up hooded top with two red stripes on the sleeves.
