A third man has been charged with attacking an Indian general while he was visiting central London.

Lt-Gen Kuldeep Singh Brar, 78, was stabbed in Old Quebec Street, near Marble Arch, on 30 September.

Dilbag Singh, 36, of no fixed abode, will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Barjinder Singh Sangha of Wolverhampton and Mandeep Singh Sandhu of Birmingham appeared at the court on 8 October.
