Arrest over Morden betting shop murder
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man over the murder of a father of two killed at a betting shop in south London.
Andrew Iacovou, 55, was found dead at a branch of Ladbrokes in Aberconway Road, Morden, at 10:30 BST on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination showed he died from a blunt trauma to the head.
The suspect was arrested in east London and is in custody at a police station in south London.
Officers were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a man suffering serious head injuries at the betting shop.
Mr Iacovou was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say it appears he was attacked in the shop by a lone, male suspect. It is not known whether any money was taken.
