Second boy held over rape of girl, 12, in Walthamstow
A second teenager has been arrested over the "brutal rape" of a 12-year-old girl in east London.
The girl was pinned down and attacked by two males in a secluded area of Walthamstow at about 00:15 BST on 27 July, police said.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday. Another 17-year-old was arrested earlier the same day and both remain in custody.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
The victim said she met three males who engaged her in conversation.
They took her to a row of garages off Hibbert Road, near the junction with Theydon Street, where two of them raped her, police said.
The suspects left the area when a friend of the girl was called and went to the scene.
