Three men have been jailed for life after being found guilty of the murder of a 20-year-old who was stabbed during a fight at a party in north London.

Ibrahim Ali, 20, from Tottenham, died in the fight in Stamford Close, South Tottenham, on 10 March last year.

Chez Degoze, 28, of Finsbury Park, Rhys Brown, 21, and Lemar Martin, 18, both of South Tottenham, were convicted.

Degoze was jailed for a minimum of 26 years, Brown was ordered to serve 20 years while Martin was given 14 years.

All three were also convicted of unlawful wounding of a 20-year-old man.

A fourth defendant, Tara Phillips, 33, of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, was found not guilty of murder and one count of attempted murder.

She had earlier pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice and has yet to be sentenced.

Following the conviction on Monday, Det Insp Mark Lawson said: "This was a brutal and calculated revenge attack on Ibrahim Ali that stemmed from a fight at a pub in Wood Green a month before."
