Anti-gang police seize four loaded guns at Westbourne Park property

Four loaded guns have been seized at a property in west London.

The Met's specialist gang unit raided the address in Sandbourne House, Westbourne Park, at about 01.00 BST on Friday.

Two handguns and two revolvers, loaded with live ammunition, were seized.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with three counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and is due at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 29 September.

He was also charged with possession of ammunition, possession of the Class A drug cocaine and two counts of possessing cannabis.

Acting Det Ch Supt Gordon Allison said: "This operation highlights the dangers posed to unarmed police officers and their bravery in confronting armed criminals."
