Man charged with murder over north London house shooting

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman who was shot dead at a house in north London.

Leeann Foley, 32, formerly of Cork in the Irish Republic, was found at a property in Loraine Road, Holloway, at 09:35 GMT on Saturday.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as gun shot wounds. A firearm was recovered, police said.

Richard Conroy, 38, of Loraine Road, is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court.
