Boy, 10, injured after Plumstead police car collision

A 10-year-old boy has been struck by an unmarked police car responding to an emergency in south east London.

The Metropolitan Police said the boy was hit at 15:05 GMT.

He was taken from Plumstead High Street to an east London hospital by air ambulance.

The force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit has started an investigation.
