Man charged with murder over Waterloo bus stop death

A man has been charged with murdering a 43-year-old who was found dead outside Waterloo station.

Menelaos Aligizakis was found with head injuries at a bus stop outside the south London train station at 02:45 GMT on Saturday.

Mr Aligizakis was pronounced dead at the scene in Waterloo Road.

Mark Dwayne Patten, 30, of Galpins Road, Thornton Heath is due to appear at Camberwell Magistrates' Court on Monday.
