A four-year-old girl and a man aged in his 40s were found dead by police who forced entry at a property in London.

Officers went to Colville Square, Notting Hill at 20:00 BST on Friday after concerns for them were raised.

A woman, aged in her 30s, was later arrested over the deaths, which are being treated as "unexplained", Scotland Yard said.

The Met's homicide team is leading the inquiry, but the force said it was not looking for anyone else in the case.

Details of the pair's injuries have not been released by the force.

Post-mortem examinations are expected to take place in due course.
