Operation Yewtree: Man in court over sex assault at BBC

A man has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman while she was working at the BBC.

Walid Moussa, 74, is charged over seven counts of indecent assault on a female that allegedly took place in London between 1983 and 1984.

He was arrested in April as part of Operation Yewtree and appeared at Hendon Magistrates' Court earlier.

The defendant, of West Finchley, north London, has been bailed to appear at Harrow Crown Court on 27 March.

Operation Yewtree is the investigation into abuse by the former radio and television presenter Jimmy Savile and others.
